No I am not talking about the war using guns, bombs, etc. I am talking about the tariff war. You must be thinking that everyday new tariff rate are coming on the way then what is unique about !dea & Tata DoCoMo in kolkata? The answer is simple that both the operators are new entrant in that circle.

Some people were expecting something different from Tata docomo in kolkata (as they have more or less same offer in all the circles they operate). But to their disappointment instead of providing with the best they messed up in kolkata. First thing, they are only giving first 15 minutes daily @ 1p/sec and then 2p/sec unlike in other circle where it is up-to 27000 secs @ 1p/sec and then 2p/sec. In terms of SMS they are getting some benefit like after first two paid SMS 100 local/national SMS free. All the rest is same as like in other circles.

On the other hand, Idea was up-to the expectation. They are giving all local @30p/min and STD @60p/min for the first month and then local @40p/min and STD @60p/min. Tariff is not enough for everyone to choose a operator. Main thing is the network coverage. Heard some positive review from user of idea kolkata. But Tata docomo is getting more negative reviews. I don't know about their covarege as I don't live in kolkata. But as per reviews of users Idea is clearly a winner in this war.

If you think deeply then Idea is much better and affordable then Tata docomo. Well this is not the end as days are going on we will continue to see more tariff war. There are many more new operator are yet to launch thinking that what is "new" in their basket to offer the consumers.

Lets see who wins, kolkata guys how do u feel about this tariff war? Do comment.

Why should one go for "Simply Reliance Plan"

At current in Telecom industry you will find many attractive plans say local calls & std calls @ 50p/min, but it is not simple like the way we think. Some telecos are offering this by using tariff voucher but Reliance is offering this for one time charge. If we recharge with a Rs.48 voucher (one time fee) then we will simply get 50p/min charges for calls irrespective of local, std, roaming incoming or outgoing for lifetime. But if u consider other operator they are not transparent as simply reliance offer some are offering this for 30 days on recharge of tariff while others are offering for 5 months but not for lifetime.

Network coverage, voice quality, Customer service etc. these are the other things we consider will choosing an operator apart from tariff. While many people complain that Reliance GSM network is not up to the mark while on the other hand people are satisfied with the Reliance CDMA network. Simply reliance offer is available to both GSM & CDMA customer as well ( you all know that) so one can go for CDMA which is quite good now well on the other hand GSM is improving day by day. So instead of changing the operator frequently we can go for simple offer because they stated clearly " this is one time recharge and the benefit will be available for LIFETIME".

I would love to see comments from you people "whether you like the simply reliance plan or not?"
